YELLOW RIBBONS....until they ALL come home!
Brothers and sisters bound by oath
Have entered foreign land
Serving for freedom, serving for peace
Their lives in enemy hands.
Somewhere far across the seas
Countless miles away.
Families watch the news with fear
And bow their heads to pray.
A country stood together
Displaying red, white and blue.
Each person serving in their own way
Their patriotism holding true.
Tree lined streets wear yellow ribbons
And are replaced when they get frayed.
Symbols of our soldiers,
Until they come home, the ribbons stay.
Tragedy found a way
To thaw some frozen hearts
Bringing together our people
Instead of set apart.
